Jindal Aluminium celebrated 52nd Annual Day
Jindal Aluminium celebrated its 52nd annual day on April 4th, 2022. Nearly 1200 employees from the corporate headquarters, including Bhiwadi and Dabaspet units, attended the event which was held in Bangalore, Karnataka. A live telecast of the event was created for those who could not attend physically due to distance so that they could still be a part of this programme.
The programme started with a euphonious devotional song presented by one of the employee of Jindal Aluminium followed by the words of wisdom by the founder, Padma Bhushan Dr. Sitaram Jindal. The pioneering leader enunciated the importance of having unwavering dedication toward work and staying self-effacing despite achieving success.
Following this speech, the Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Pragun Jindal Khaitan also made some key announcements for the upcoming year. He announced the launching of an R&D division– “Wakeflo” which mainly aims for further product development and research with new ideas to make manufacturing processes more efficient. He also announced the implementation of SAP across the organisation from 1st April 2022 onwards, highlighting how it
will bring about a 360-degree change in the workflows.
Furthermore, Mr. Pragun also invited attention to the idea of ‘The Five Pillars’ during his speech. He stated that by implementing practices such as embracing digitalization, developing teamwork, promoting meritocracy, focusing on self-improvements and creating teambuilding in our daily work, we will be better able to achieve our goals. He also stated that he was sure that we can achieve further success through unified effort and unflagging tenacity to perform. Toward the end of the event, Mr. Naveen Mehta, President – Operations announced promotions for the upcoming financial year 2022 to 2023. Prizes were also announced for the deserving employees and increments enclosures were distributed. This was an enriching event that motivated everyone to work diligently and uphold the values of modesty and integrity. It’s a celebration not just for the organization but also for every single member of the Jindal Aluminium Family.
