Jindal Aluminium Limited launches #ProudlyVaccinated, a free vaccination drive for its employees
Jindal Aluminium Limited, India’s largest aluminium extrusion company, launches #ProudlyVaccinated, to ensure vaccination of employees and their dependents in the fight against COVID-19. It is yet another step towards employee wellbeing and continued support for the employees during the pandemic.
This drive would benefit over 2500 employees across business units. #ProudlyVaccinated complies with all health and safety protocols Jindal Aluminium has implemented to ensure a COVID-free working environment.
The organization’s priority has always been employee wellbeing, and in line with this, the organization will spend approximately INR 40 Lakhs for bulk procurement of vaccines. Through this initiative, Jindal Aluminium targets administering the first and second dose of Covishield immunizations procured from the Serum Institute of India, Pune. The company will start the vaccination drive in mid-august and intends to complete the first dose before the end of the month and consecutively the second dose by November. Earlier, the company has announced the launch of SAHAY, a Psychological Wellness Program to support its employees’ mental and emotional wellbeing.
